Tremie Concreting
Trime Pipe
A narrow steel pipe with hopper attached at the top end held by Crane/Service winch of Rig to pore concrete in to the bore. The tremie pipe has several sections screwed together to increase or reduce the length by adding or removing the sections according to the requirement.
The correct procedure of concreting of pile is to start pouring the concrete from the bottom of the bore up to the top. This ensures solid pipe core with out any voids.
